EV
Exposure Value (EV) denotes all combinations of camera shutter speed and relative aperture that gives the same exposure.
Exposure
Exposure is the total amount of light allowed to fall on the photographic medium (photographic film or image sensor) during the process of taking a photograph.
Flash
A flash is a device that produces an instantaneous flash of light (typically around 1/3000 of a second) at a colour temperature of about 5500K to help illuminate a scene.
Flash Sync
In a camera, flash syncronisation, also known as a flash sync is required for the firing of a photographic flash to coincide with the shutter admitting light to the photographic film.
Foot-Candle
(Sometimes abbreviated fc and ft-c) is a non-SI unit of illuminance or light intensity.
